Shawn Magill is a classically trained pianist who now plays in the piano-led indie rock band, Home By Hovercraft. Her debut solo album, The Imaginations of Man, is a spontaneous piano offering, that poured out of her as she sat in front of a Steinway grand.

Enchanting, mesmerizing, and inspiring are all words that have been used to describe this album. It's a not quite classical viewpoint that in turn delights and provokes thought in it's listeners, while evoking the same types of repeating rhythms and themes that are signature in Home By Hovercraft's music.
